The cobalt content of cemented carbide used in drawing die is low, and the main raw materials are 99.95% tungsten carbide and a small amount of cobalt.

Cemented carbide wire drawing material has good wear resistance, impact resistance, polishing property and corrosion resistance, easy to repair and low price. It is a common material for drawing core, and is widely used in drawing die of coarse and medium wire. By improving the composition and structure of cemented carbide, controlling the fluctuation value of carbon content and refining the carbide particles, the properties of the material can be improved and its service life can be prolonged.

Cemented carbide mold, whether in the electronics, automobile, motor, electrical appliances, instruments, home appliances and communications and other industries, 60% - 80% of the parts need to rely on the mold to complete the forming operation. The quality of the mold will directly affect the product quality. Therefore, the mold is known as the "mother of all industries". The value orientation of the final product produced by the mold is often dozens of times, or even hundreds of times, of the value of the mold itself.

The quality of the mould is the main factor directly affecting the quality and cost of the product. Therefore, the market business situation has more strict requirements on the quality of the mold. How to improve the quality of the mold more effectively has become the primary problem of major manufacturers. How can we make the mold produce qualified parts for a longer time and more times under the condition of high precision, low cost and high efficiency? Welcome to enjoin the annoy cemented carbide die Department, professional staff to answer!

Sintering process of tungsten steel

With the continuous innovation of technology, the wide use of new materials, the continuous update and change of processing technology, the difference of use and maintenance conditions and so on, all affect the product quality of the mold in varying degrees.

Sintering of tungsten steel prefabrication

Sintering forming of tungsten steel is to press the powder into blank, then heat it into sintering furnace to a certain temperature (sintering temperature), keep it for a certain time (holding time), and then cool it down, so as to obtain the tungsten steel material with required properties.

The sintering process of tungsten steel preform can be divided into four basic stages

1: In this stage, the sinter changes as follows:

In the early stage of sintering, with the increase of temperature, the molding agent gradually decomposes or vaporizes to exclude the sintering body. At the same time, the molding agent more or less adds carbon to the sintering body, and the amount of carbon will change with the type, quantity and sintering process of the molding agent.   the oxide on the surface of the powder is reduced. At the sintering temperature, hydrogen can reduce the oxide of cobalt and tungsten. If the molding agent is removed in vacuum and sintering, the reaction between carbon and oxygen is not strong. The contact stress between the powder particles is gradually eliminated, the bonded metal powder begins to recover and recrystallize, the surface diffusion begins to occur, and the briquetting strength is improved.

2: Solid phase sintering stage (800 ℃ - eutectic temperature)   at the temperature before the liquid phase, in addition to continuing the process of the previous stage, the solid phase reaction and diffusion are intensified, the plastic flow is enhanced, and the sintered body shrinks obviously.    3: liquid phase sintering stage (eutectic temperature sintering temperature)    when the liquid phase appears in the sintered body, the shrinkage is completed quickly, and then the crystallization transformation occurs, forming the basic structure and structure of the alloy.    4: cooling stage (sintering temperature - room temperature)    in this stage, the microstructure and phase composition of tungsten steel change with different cooling conditions, which can be used for heat treatment of tungsten steel to improve its physical and mechanical properties.

Drawing die for diamond composite coating

The drawing die of nano diamond composite coating made by chemical vapor deposition method on cemented carbide substrate has shown excellent effect and economic effect since its birth.

The life of the drawing die with nano diamond composite coating is more than 10 times that of the common cemented carbide drawing die, and the quality and surface finish of the drawing wire are effectively improved.

Nano diamond composite coating drawing die is very suitable for large-size welding strip, low carbon steel wire, alloy steel wire, various non-ferrous wire, pipe drawing and as wire and cable pressing die.
